California-based Money Brand is owned by Mike “Majix” Yuen, who started working in the cannabis industry as a teenager in Miami, specifically in cultivation and distribution. He served four years in federal prison for cannabis crimes and went on to co-star in VH1’s “Cartel Crew” and open a California-licensed cultivation operation and dispensary in Sacramento and my hometown of Modesto. 

Majix produces some exceptional indoor cultivars, personal favorites being Million Dolla Baby (MDB) and Gas Money. The flower is really well grown and the cultivars hit the market right in the heart: MDB is a terpy deep purple candy while the Gas Money, true to its name, is really gassy and pungent. One of the most impressive details is that Majix does this without corporate funding, backers, or a team of people. He tells his story and produces quality. And as if that were not enough, he uses his social media presence to teach others how to build their own “million-dollar brand.”
